Arriola - Gordo, Sunday 8-12-1945 |

The early years of Gordo, when the Sunday was a continuing story, were by far the best in my view. Later on the strip turned too often into fairly simple graphic designs with gags dependent on bad puns. This is a strong Sunday from 1945 (the Sunday began in 1943) which illustrates Arriola's great talent as a cartoonist.
Size is about 16.75 x 24.75 inches. |
