| Here's a rarely seen example of a Wash Tubbs Sunday,
the pre-cursor to Crane's magnificent Captain Easy
Sunday page, even more rare in that it is
hand-colored with the color notes in several places.
Size is about 10 x 24 inches. As you can see in the
scan, the piece has sustained some minor damage over
the years: chipping at the corners outside the art,
a short marginal tear in the bottom right, some minor
creases, smudging and staining, a partially lost title
stat in the Comic Scrapbook feature on the right,
and a missing pasteup in the Comic Scrapbook.
