Polly and Her Pals Sunday Assortment

The graphic wonderland of Cliff Sterrett's Polly and Her Pals is widely acknowledged and recognized but probably less widely experienced. The most significant reprint of the strip, the two volumes of Sunday reprints from Remco/Kitchen Sink that covered 1926 through the beginning of 1929, was published over 15 years ago now.

The strip lover who wants to explore this masterpiece of the art form really has no choice other than to put together a collection of tearsheets, not an easy task.

Here's a batch of Sunday pages from the 1920s and 1930s to try to capture the genius of this strip. Some of these have been reprinted in the Remco books and in anthologies such as the Smithsonian Collection of Newspaper Comics. But not everyone has access to these books, so here they are again.
