Mage remains absolutely my favorite work of Matt Wagner's. Both series are excellent. Here's the page from the second series in which Athena makes her entrance and is introduced to Kevin and Joe by Kirby.

Modern art size. The slight blurriness you see about a third of the way up from the bottom is the result of imperfect stitching of the scan pieces and is not present in the actual art.
