This section indexes most of the run of Menonomee Falls Gazette, the most important strip reprint
vehicle of the early and mid 1970s. As with the Comic Relief index, this one covers the regularly
occurring strips in the Gazette and is not a complete index of the magazine.

What is not indexed:
Text features, such as interviews, critical articles, reprints of contemporary media coverage of comic strips
One-shot or short-run reprints. The Gazette had a feature they called "Potpourri" where they would print
a week’s worth of dailies or a Sunday from some rarely seen strip just to give readers a glimpse of it. I did not
index these except in a couple of cases where the strips were of interest to me even in a short segment, such as the
Jim Aparo tryout strips Condor and Zip Tyro.
Notes on this index
A date in the cell on the spreadsheet indicates the date of the Sunday or the first day of a week of 6 dailies.
Where a number appears in a cell, it is the strip number in cases where strips were numbered not dated. This
is most frequent with strips from the UK
Strips, including Sundays, were always printed in black and white, except for some color in issue 100
MFG dated some strips, such as Air Hawk, to fit the current dates of US strips.
Lastly, through the course of its run MFG had many errors in the dating and presentation of the strips.
This index corrects some, and I’m sure it perpetuates and compounds others, while introducing completely
new ones. Please let me know of errors and I will correct them.
